The bicycle bridge is destined for the\u00a0<strong>largest Japanese garden in Europe<\/strong>. Due to its 6-metre width, the transport from Heerenveen had to take place at night.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The 20-tonne bridge was manufactured by\u00a0Groot Lemmer\u00a0in Heerenveen. Using an overhead crane and two truck-mounted cranes, the bridge was loaded yesterday morning onto a\u00a0five-axle semi low-loader. After several sections of driving against traffic, the removal of traffic signs, and two rounds of police escort, the transport successfully reached Hasselt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to thorough\u00a0route research, the entire journey went smoothly.
