Milk tanks, beer tanks, biogas tanks, cooling tanks… Every day we transport large tanks in all shapes and sizes. But this time, it was something entirely different.

Recently, two military tanks were transported to Munshausen, Luxembourg a Sherman measuring 6.6 metres in length and weighing 26 tonnes, and an M18 Hellcat, 6.5 metres long and weighing 20 tonnes. Both tanks were used by the American forces during World War II.

The tanks were carried on our new low-loader semi-trailer. This trailer was acquired last year, has since been repainted in brown, and is equipped with a covered storage compartment at the front.
