Danish week

We’re often in Denmark for both assembly and transport projects, but last week was especially Danish-themed. With boiler-bed trailers, semi-low loaders, and flatbed trucks, we delivered various loads to Germany and Slovakia.

A great trip took us to Dresden, Germany, where three large chimney sections were loaded from a ship. The next day, the parts ranging in length from 18 to 22 meters were transported to Chemnitz. The same trio then headed to Esbjerg, Denmark, to collect another large chimney. Those sections were also delivered to Chemnitz, about 800 km away.

At the same time, a crane truck was working in the Danish port city of Fredericia, while another team loaded in nearby Kolding. From Denmark, they transported two 32-ton loads on semi-low loaders all the way to Žarnovica, Slovakia.

Additionally, a flatbed truck picked up two 5.6-meter-wide parts of an evaporator in Denmark. With German police and BF3 escort, these components were also delivered safely to Chemnitz.
