The curtains feature none other than founder Pieter Plantinga. Times were tough in 1923, even for agricultural workers like Pieter. To put food on the table, he decided to venture into transport alongside his work on the Groningen fields. Also pictured is the iconic Diamond T Mover, one of the powerful trucks that helped the company grow in the post-war years.
Now, 90 years after Pieter Plantinga transported his first cow and calf, the third generation is at the helm: Sjoerd Plantinga. Nearly a century later, PAX Group remains a true family business—one that has never lost sight of its roots.
Starting this Monday, NABEK Hoogezand will take these tribute trailers on the road and they’re sure to turn heads. The trailers were built by Schmitz Cargobull.
