This past weekend, we transported nine storage tanks to Sonac in Burgum. Water transport, lifting operations, road closures, overland transport, and a good dose of teamwork everything came together. In short, a typical “PAX project” full of great challenges.
Eight tanks traveled by ship from Groot Ammers to Sumar in Friesland, while the ninth due to its size had to make the journey north by road. On Friday, the tanks were unloaded, and at the break of dawn on Saturday, the first tandem with two tanks departed for Burgum. Each hour, another followed, with the tanks being placed at their final positions using a truck-mounted crane and a telescopic crane.
A successful project achieved through thorough preparation, precise coordination, and of course, a strong dose of dedication and craftsmanship.
