We’re proud to announce that PAX and K-tainer have teamed up to support Speeltuin Meeuwenplaat by donating a 20ft container. The container doesn’t have to be brand new—but it must be watertight and free from hazardous substances. It will serve as new storage space for the playground, replacing the current wooden hut, which is outdated and leaking.

Speeltuin Meeuwenplaat is a vital space for both young children and teenagers, hosting various events throughout the year. During recent activities—like the evening walking event that drew 1,600 participants—the playground proved to be a safe and inclusive place for the whole community. A dedicated team of 15 young people, mainly girls, works hard to maintain a positive and welcoming environment for visitors.

With play areas for children becoming increasingly scarce, safe spaces like Meeuwenplaat are more important than ever. By providing proper storage, the team can safely keep their equipment and continue offering great experiences for all who visit.

K-tainer is supplying the container, and PAX is taking care of the transport free of charge—true teamwork! Together, they hope this donation will support the playground in continuing its mission.
