After a successful VMBO On Stage Career Event on March 12th, VMBO students visited PAX in Heerenveen yesterday for the “Doe Dag” (Hands-On Day).

VMBO On Stage supports students in exploring their future career paths by facilitating personal, local career networks between young people and companies. During the Career Event, students were introduced to a wide range of businesses. On the “Doe Dag”, they got to spend part of the day working in the field of their matched profession!

It was a great day! Sleeves were rolled up for activities like driving a forklift, operating the electric Hoeflon mini crane, and helping pack a machine. Giving them a small taste of what a workday at PAX is really like.

Who knows, we may just have met a few of our future colleagues!
