Ten tanks transported to Gilze-Rijen with a smart mix of road and waterway logistics. For a valued customer, ten tanks were transported to Gilze-Rijen, with the entire process, from route analysis to final placement, coordinated by PAX Group. Part of the journey was completed using a road-water-road transport method.
Although the full route over the Dutch road network was technically possible, it was extremely tight. After a thorough route study, it was decided to transport the largest tanks—measuring 4.6 meters wide and 4.7 meters high—partially by water. They were first moved by road from Lopik to Groot-Ammers, then shipped to Tilburg, and finally transported by road to their destination in Gilze-Rijen. In addition to the tanks, five caged ladder sections and seven platforms were also delivered.
Besides handling the route study and the road and water transport, PAX Group also took care of transshipment, unloading, installation, lifting plans, and TRA formalities.
