Installing a CO₂ booster in a tight space

This morning, we installed a 7-ton CO₂ booster at Zalmhuys in Urk. Using a truck-mounted crane, the unit was hoisted inside, followed by the use of various support tools. Due to the limited space, it required precision and creativity — a real test of our technicians’ skill and ingenuity.

It was clear that the team had faced tougher challenges before. Despite curious onlookers, a machine suspended several meters in the air, and only a few centimeters of clearance on all sides, they kept their cool.

The machine was maneuvered inside as if through a mail slot and then carefully rolled into the adjacent room.

The job was scheduled to take an entire day but was completed by midday — a testament to the team’s efficiency and expertise.
