From Niefern-Öschelbronn in Germany, a belt filter press was transported to the Botlek industrial area. Using a hydraulic lifting system, the press was ultimately positioned on the concrete platform.

In the early morning hours, the 10-ton press was loaded in Germany to begin its journey to Rotterdam. Upon arrival, it was unloaded with a mobile crane and then—taking floor load limits into account—carefully placed in its final position using the hydraulic lifting system. Due to the limited space available, a three-point setup was required.
